The 3 CSI's, Amazing Race, Survivor, Criminal Minds, Two And A Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, Jericho, The "old" ER (back before it got all soap opera), M*A*S*H (classic), The West Wing (when it was on), Animal Planet, Discovery Channel.
Just about anything by Stephen King, or Tom Clancy. "Roots" by Alex Haley. Anything dealing with history. "Walk Across America", "A Walk West", "Walk Across China" all by Peter Jenkins. "Travels With Charley" by John Stienbeck. "The Lincoln Lawyer" by Micheal Connelly. "The Gulag Archipelago" by Aleksander Solzhenitsyn. Short stories by Louis L'Amour and Barbra Kingsolver. "Cold Slice" by L.T. Fawkes. And I just discovered Mitch Albom with "The Five People You Meet In Heaven".
