while occasionally having smalltalk on a party in early summer 2006, dietmar and felix schaller found that they share the same taste in music.
and when also nicole and felix knew they shared the love for acoustc rock, it had to lead to a jam-session in the stern-haus.
soon everyone knew they were wittnessing the birth of a new band, a new genre, a new era.
the cajon replaces drums and bass and gives the whole setup more room for interpretation and improvising.
for full band shows, handsome feet is completed by michael and arno.
after having practised intensively and after some gigs as trio and full band, the main goal is to further expand the song variety.
mainly original compositions and crazy arrangements of famous songs from the last 30 years are planned.
in 2007, the first cd should be completed.

nach einigen auftritten im duo wurde schnell der bedarf nach percussion klar.
auch die shows in vollem band-lineup stillten nicht den durst nach groove in kleiner besetzung.
im zufälligen gespräch auf einer party im frühsommer 2006 stellten dietmar und felix schaller schnell fest, dass sie musikalisch auf einer wellenlänge liegen.
nachdem auch nicole und felix sofort ihre gemeinsame liebe für akustischen rock erkannt hatten, musste der weitere weg zwangsweise zu einer jam-session im stern-haus führen.
bald war allen beteiligten klar, dass sie hier der geburt einer neuen band, eines neuen genres, einer neuen ära beiwohnten.
die cajon ersetzt drums und bass und gibt somit der gesamten besetzung mehr raum für interpretation und improvisation.
für full-band-konzerte wird handsome feet ergänzt durch michael und arno.
nach einer intensiven einspielphase und verschiedenen shows im trio und zu fünft steht die erweiterung des programms im vordergrund.
vor allem weitere originelle eigenkompositionen und völlig kranke arrangements bekannter stücke aus den letzten 30 jahren sind in arbeit.
die cd-produktion ist für 2007 geplant.
