Karen Eden is an accomplished international singer/songwriter and session vocalist from Australia now based in the United States. She has worked solidly throughout Europe, Australia and the United States lending her vocal and writing talents to artists like Micheal McDonald, Kylie Minogue, Chris Rea, William Orbit, Beth Orton, M-People, Micheal Ball, Souled Out and many others. She co-wrote and sang the song "Behind the Glass" which became the theme for the critically acclaimed Italian movie "Sfiorarsi" with Saro Cosentino. She also wrote another song with Saro on his album "Ones and Zeros".
She has lent her vocals to many advertising campaigns throughout the world including Barbie, McDonalds, Toyota, Decore, Johnson & Johnson, Lufthansa, Qantas amongst many others.
With her band Eden a.k.a she toured the U.S and Canada with the highly successful Lilith Fair led by Sarah McLachlan and this helped bring about a top ten single in Boston with "Not Your Enemy". Stephen Stills played on the album which included a version of his classic "Helplessly Hoping".
Since making Los Angeles her home, she has worked with Grammy Award winners such as Jeff Silbar (Wind Beneath My Wings) and Jimmie Haskell (Sheryl Crow, Chicago, Simon and Garfunkel), Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil (HSM 1,2,&3, Hannah Montana).
Recent work includes Disney (High School Musical 3, Hannah Montana and Pixar Parade) and Nickelodeon (Bratz and the upcoming movie "Spectacular".
Other work includes "Evita" Soundtrack, Eurovision Song Contest and Australian soap opera theme "Home & Away".
Karen's other passion is teaching kids singing and performance and helping them to nuture their talent.
