Missing an Angel

About Me

.. Whipping Post by the Allman Bros Band:"I've been run down and I've been lied to. And I don't know why, I let that mean woman make me a fool. She took all my money, wrecks my new car. Now she's with one of my good time buddies, They're drinkin in some cross-town bar.Sometimes I feel, sometimes I feel, Like I been tied to the whippin post. Tied to the whippin post, tied to the whippin post. Good Lord, I feel like I'm dyin.My friends tell me, that I've been such a fool. But I had to stand by and take it baby, all for lovin you. Drown myself in sorrow as I look at what you've done. But nothing seemed to change, the bad times stayed the same, And I can't run."Hello friends and all the other people who seem to have weaseled their way onto my friends list...you know who you are!!! Anyway, I'm not going to go prattling on since you probably know me to some degree already. First and foremost, I'm a die-hard Colorado Rockies fan...and not the fair-weather, bandwagon jumping type fan either. I've lived and died with them over the past 15 years, and it looks like my patience has payed off finally. They're the NL champs until proven otherwise. BTW ladies, it's not just a game, it's life. Make an effort and take interest! I like a good laugh, I tend to be a smartass (except at work where I haven't been able to get my sense of humor going), I'm stuck in England (which is the worst country in the world as I know it BTW) Worst food on the planet Earth! No wonder Scotland, Ireland, France and damn near all of Europe hated them at one time or another...well...that and their uncanny ability of always having some kind of cruel and unreasonable ruler. I quite possibly have an unhealthy addiction to Dr Pepper and Cambell's creamy chicken soup. Don't ask why. I don't have to explain myself. I'm capable of being a asshole if you get on my bad side...which is possible. I don't care too much about my health. That's really the better way to live. If you worry about your health...you're always going to be unhealthy. I'm quite the handyman I guess. I'm come to the conclusion that everything can be fixed with either WD-40 or duct tape. (For your own reference...if it doesn't move and it should - WD-40. If it does move and it shouldn't -duct tape) Up until lately, life hasn't treated me very well. The last year has brought heartache and war, but I've come out better and stronger than I've ever been...and most importantly, I'm smiling again. Want to know more...Just ask!Heaven is where the police are British, the chefs are Italian, the mechanics are German, the lovers are French, and it is all run by the Swiss. Hell is where the police are German, the chefs are British, the mechanics are French, the lovers are Swiss, and it'ss all run by the Italians

My Interests

Hockey, baseball, little bit of cooking, grilling, snowboarding, hiking, biking. You know. I like just being outdoors having fun. I play video games when the weather is terrible, which is often here, so yeah. I keep myself entertained.

I'd like to meet:

EVIL TOM!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! But seriously, people who love to laugh and people who love the finer things in life. That and people I knew back in the day...

Music:

If it rocks I like it. I'm against MTV andsellout bands. What I mean by sellout bands, I mean Limp Bizkit, Nickleback, 50 Cent, etc...bands that play music for the money rather than for the music. I like Lost Point, Iron Maiden, Sabbath, Killswitch Engage, well as of late, also Trivium, Tool, System of a Down, Megadeth, Lamb of God, God Forbid, Atreyu, 36 Crazyfists, Bullet for My Valentine, DragonForce, Children of Bodom, CCR, Billy Joel (yes, that sounds like it doesn't belong, but he plays great music), Boston, A Perfect Circle, The Beatles, Flogging Molly, Pink Floyd, Rush, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Bob Seger, the list goes on. I'm not going to bore you...anymore than I already have anyway. I'll just say generally, I can't stand rap. As I always say, you can't spell crap without rap. Oh yeah...and I can't stand whiny bands like Panic at the Disco, Simple Plan, Angels and Airwaves, and anything emo. Gross!

Movies:

My favorites are the Goodfellas, Ghostbusters, The Indiana Jones movies, the Bourne movies, Wayne's World and Braveheart. Otherwise, if it's a war movie, action movie, or comedy and it doesn't suck, I like it.

Television:

Family Guy, South Park, Scrubs, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Reno 911, Drawn Together, CSI, MXC, SportsCenter, and Ghost Hunters. I don't get many of those out here. I miss Comedy Central, though. I could watch that station for hours!

Books:

I'm not really much of a book reader.

Heroes:

My father and my grandfather. My dad was made worked hard his entire adult life to support my mother, my brothers, my sister and I and my grandpa is a veteran of World War II. My mother is also up there. She's a very strong woman and I have a lot of respect for her

Bad Fans and the East Coast Bias
