He's got a whole generation to hold down, so to call K-Dot another rapper is an insult. This Virginia born Emcee is the latest phenomenon to emerge in the music industry. Moved around a lot as a youth, K-Dot picked up many influences and experiences. Around the age of 15 K-Dot began entering freestyle competitions, dismantling his opponents, and quickly gaining respect as a serious lyricist.
While pursuing his hip-hop career, at the age of 17 K-Dot took an interest in radio in order to gain connections to push his music. Coincidently, K-Dot gained a daily prime-time show and became the youngest radio personality in the Middle Georgia Area. K-Dot quickly gained understanding of music in the corporate arena while still maintaining street credibility.
Working with major artist, DJs, club owners, program directors, and the voices of public opinion, K-Dot is accustomed to what is marketable while never losing touch with the streets or his generation. K-Dot is so far ahead of his time he could start another life--Twice! But to say the game isn't ready for him would be a lie; after all he's what it needs. So keep your ears open for this young seasoned vet because the “Dot†at the end of “K†just ends a sentence in a series of chapters to come.
