Founded in 1988 by Rockin' Bob and Cranford Nix, then Later with the help of lead guitar virtuoso Brian Greig, The Leather Gypsies were and still are a band of many styles and surprises. Though they have toned up their personal lives so they may continue living, The Gypsies are a band chocked full of great hooks, drumming madness, bass in your face and of course led by the man who should have been dead the first time around: Bob Dancer on lead vox. The Leather Gypsies are a band that has survived many a city jungle only to bring their rock n roll debauchery to a liquor stand near you. Having been described as: "Music that you can grow hair to." The Gypsies have been around the block and in your local bars for well over the last generation. Songs about drinking, living, heartache, heartbrake and wearing their emotions on their sleeves is what the Gypsies do best. Some belive that a curse has been cast over these band members for their past ways and dirty deeds by a former lady friend of all 4 of them, that they shared.....
