If you don't have anything nice to say, sit by me!

About Me

I'm a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, caring, giving, anal, impatient, bitchy, a sweetheart, unstable, crazy, organized, reserved, a hard worker, family oriented, easily distracted, an animal advocate, a go-getter, spoiled, easily annoyed, cautious, bossy, paranoid, a housekeeper, stingy, jealous, hard-headed, stubborn, obsessive, compulsive...I'll think of more later. I absolutely love being a mom and adore my daughter. I can't say that it is everything I'd thought it would be since I had no preconcieved notions. I just always knew I wanted to be a mom, and now I am and it is priceless. I love being able to make her smile and giggle.

My Interests

I'm interested in maintaining my sanity while trying to work full time from home and take care of my infant daughter simultaneously. I also enjoy anything outdoors, animals, spending time with family, tattoos (my husband has 2 more than I do and that is totally unfair). I'm also into conserving gas and electricity so I'm not paying out the ass for my utilities.

I'd like to meet:

Metallica, I would faint if James Hetfield spoke to me with his gruffy voice. I'd also like to meet Jamie Pressly, she is the hottest woman alive (sorry Angelina).

Music:

I like a little bit of everything except religious music, but my favorite band is Metallica (They will ALWAYS be kings in my book!)

Movies:

Adam Sandler movies, anything with Vin "HOTTTT" Diesel, Lonesome Dove, Freeway (any Reese Witherspoon movie), Labryinth (David Bowie was SOO SEXY), Lady and The Tramp, The Break Up (it could have been written about my husband), most Jennifer Lopez movies, Dukes of Hazard

Television:

My Name is Earl, Contender, That 70s Show, Deal or No Deal, Cops (I'm taking notes on what NOT to do, JK), Americas Most Wanted, Miami Ink, Dog The Bounty Hunter, Pimp My Ride, The Hills (Lauren should have went to Paris), A Baby Story, Handy Manny (its a cartoon), Dukes of Hazard

Books:

My Antonia, 1984

Heroes:

My Dad is my hero. He is always there when I need him, and he'll do whatever it takes to help me out. He is a great man who demonstrates what it is to be a man even if it takes a lifetime to get there.

My Blog

Daisy Duke

Ok, is it just me or does Jessica Simpson absolutely suck as Daisy Duke. Don't get me wrong, I love the Dukes of Hazzard movie, and thankfully Miss Simpsons part was limited. Acting just isn't one of ...

Crawdads

Yesterday morning I was cooking bacon and the smell took me back to my childhood. If you're from the South then you know what I'm talking about when I say fishing for crawdads and the role bacon plays...
