About Me

I'm originally from Creston North, NL. I graduated high school in 1997, left home for university in 1998, got engaged to Scott in 1999, married him in 2000, received my B.Sc (Biology/English) in 2001, had our first child (Emma) in 2002, received my B.Ed AND moved to Burlington, NL AND had our second child (Kate) in 2003 (that was a busy year), 2004-2005 was relatively uneventful when it comes to major accomplishments, moved back to St. John's (well Mount Pearl -- close enough) in 2006, and started Newfoundland's first online Christian magazine -- "Reality" in 2007. That makes my life sound a little more interesting than simply stating that I am primarily a mom and a wife who spends most of her time at home taking care of her kids and doing housework. In my "spare" time I can be found writing, editing, reading, praying, singing, cooking, baking, emailing, volunteering, leading a Women's Bible Study and finally sleeping!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Definitely Paul the Apostle. I want my life to progress like his, ever increasing humility and dependance on God. Esther was also a Bible character whose qualities I admire and I would love to be able to express my heart like David. Aside from people that are dead and gone, I wouldn't mind meeting some of the Hillsong United crowd, and I love John Bevere's books so it would be cool to discuss some of his books with him. And, of course, my Savior.
