Band Members: Just me..... and ableton live.
I started djing around a year and a half ago and i love it. I dj purely as a hobby and am not really interested in it becoming a job, i think i'll get bored of it if that happens, so i make sure i play enough to keep me nervous, excited and looking forward to the next one.
I am now going on into the music production world, it's good fun. I don't really care if i get anywhere with it, it's just very therapeutic for me. Have a listen to my tracks as and when they appear on here and please drop me a comment, let me know what you think.
Influences: Every kind of dance music since 1989 really..
I have been listening to and enjoying house music since i was 14. I spent the last 15 years on the other side of the dj box, which is where i think i picked up the basic understandings of house music.
when i decided to start playing i went to some freinds for help and thanks has to go to Dj Ruby www.pureruby.com , Dj Duncan f www.duncanf.com and a completely unknown, yet excellent dj, Alan(l-iSponk), who painstakingly listened to me trash records and generally f*ck it all up for a few months.
I guess the main reason why i adore dance music is becasue i have seen what it can do. I have been to clubs with people in there from every race, generation, ethnic group, religious group and sexual orientation and i have always been impressed with the level of friendliness it creates. black, white, asian, jew, it doesn't matter in a club, as everyone is there for the same thing, the music. I believe that if more people round the world went clubbing, they might learn a thing or two about tolerance. Some of you will mock this last comment, the rest of you who have been clubbing will know i'm right.
