What? Oh, yeah, I'm here because some of my oldest and dearest friends insist on hanging out on MySpace. So what can you do but join them even if the bar *is* kinda seedy? Have another shot of whiskey and shut up and enjoy the company, I guess.
I'm blissfully, happily, wonderfully married to the most amazing guy I've ever known. 10 years plus married - and I still think I'm lucky!
I told him on the 2nd date that whenever he was ready to get married to let me know... 6 months later, with 16 of our closest family and friends, and 2 Elvis impersonators in the building (one young-good-lookin' Elvis, one old-scary-polyester Elvis) we got married in the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Smartest thing I *ever* did.
I have an amazing, incredible, sweet, smart daughter, Miss Kira Simone, born January 2003.
If happiness, love and family could be represented in $$ - I've already won the lottery. I don't really need anything more.
My Motto: Change is Inevitable, Growth is Optional
That said - it was time to pare this down to something less than the length of War & Peace - you want to know something? Ask me!
Oh... and to make it abundantly clear:
I am happily married - not interested, not looking, not available.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

the guy who cursed me to live an interesting life - I'd shake his hand and thank him. I'd also like to meet people who like who they are or who they are becoming... if you like you, the odds are better I'll like you, no matter how we are different. Mostly, I keep a MySpace account to track down people from my youth.

On the other hand...

Don't even bother trying to add me if you:

- are looking for romance... try next door.
- confuse blindly loyal with fiercely loyal - the unexamined life is not worth living, the unexamined friendship is not worth keeping.
- think that lying is a good way to avoid confrontation.
- expect me to be consistent -- I'm mercurial, impulsive, and often rash, some might even say flighty. I prefer the term 'complex' -- mostly because it just sounds better.
Editorial Note: I've recoded the page to resize any graphic-based comments - because I got tired of the huge ones warping my layout. Seemed better than deleting them. But if you leave one that uses a 'factory site' and the link breaks, I will delete it. Thanks.
