AfricanSky.org is an independant, member-operated organization devoted to building friendship and understanding between the poeple of Mali and the United States. Through donations and volunteers, AfricanSky.org provides material resources for hard-working, rural communities in southern Mali. Additionaly, AfricanSky.org presents educational programs for schools and community groups in the U.S. and Mali.
In 2002, Bougoni Browns Backers in Mali, West Africa sold t-shirts to Cleveland Browns fans across the U.S. to build a school in a rural Malian village . The overwhelmingly generous response of the Browns community inspired us to create AfricanSky.org and take on the challenge to build more schools and to develop new projects with Malian communities. Through actiuvities and initiatives that encourage friendships between the people of Mali and the United States, AfricanSky.org has already touched thousands of lives.
