“OIL†is also the name of the band’s album, which was released in November 2006 in Cochabamba - Bolivia, a 10-track pure rock album that represents its passive-aggressive essence, a hard mixture of 6 and 12-string acoustic guitars, with distorted and electronic elements of another but electric guitar, and the strength and body of the bass lines that along with the drums set the beat of the music, that was arranged, mixed and recorded at “Mutante Studio†by Cacho Romero during the years 2005 and 2006, to show an honest and personal rock, with no pretensions or prophetic messages. The video of the band’s first single “The Room†was introduced with the cd , written and directed by Martin Boulocq, accompanying perfectly what OIL really is with his visual creativity. This video was in the 1st place for over 12 weeks in the most important national video chart and categorized as one of the best videos ever made in. The video of the band’s second single “Nothing†has been be released in July 2007 (also written and directed by Martin Boulocq).
