Darren Mase is an extraordinary DJ and producer hailing from Den Haag in the Netherlands. Before moving into the spotlight, he spent years working behind the scenes with talented top-notch European artists such as Sander Kleinenberg. With Sander, he produced the mega-hits; “The Fruit†and “This is Miami.†They also produced remixes for artists like; Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson, Eurythmics, BT, Usher, Junkie XL, Mylo and Röyksopp. After years of being in the background of the nouveau-Dutch house movement, Darren Mase thought it was about time to step into the limelight.After his career-making decision, Darren’s first goal was to set up a well-respected label. He accomplished this by establishing Tease Records. The initial release, entitled “Take That Record Offâ€, was an instant smash-hit around the world. Within a short amount of time, Darren Mase was soon discovered and befriended by world-renowned artists such as; René Amesz, Fedde Le Grand, Don Diablo, Lucien Foort, Tyler Hampton, David Sense, Dirty Flavor, Mike Heart and Laidback Luke. Eventually, some of these already established artists went out on a limb and asked Darren Mase to crank out a remix.To their surprise, he had developed a unique floor-pounding sound for his productions. As with all good things, the more he produced the more respect he gained. He soon turned from a novice into a highly respected peer. He has had the opportunity to produce tracks and remixes for labels like; La Musique Fait La Force, Rising Trax, Royal Flush Records, Sellout Sessions, Toolroom Records, Wooferfood Records and Big & Dirty.Darren Mase cannot settle with being just another producer.
