Music takes up all of my time. (Amongst other things, of course) I'm a guitarist and music collector. I also used to be a drummer but I'm not very good these days. I also teach guitar to anyone who's got the passion to be creative. I collect rare and unusual vinyl from the late 60s and 70s covering all genres. There's some astouding music out there that never got heard. All I want to hear is something I've never heard before. It's an endless search but that's the whole point.
I'm only too happy to talk to anyone about music or stuff. I like a good laugh as well. Some musicians are totally up themselves and have forgotten the meaning of fun. I am not one of those.
Jeez, how long have you got? I could list thousands but I'll list a few for your enjoyment and to make you feel you're getting the full 'MySpace' experience even though listing bands seems a bit pointless to me in a "Ooooo! Look, he likes wot I like" kind of way. I like a shit-load of music but I'll toss you a bone....Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Opeth, Tool, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Can, Kraftwerk, The Doors, Brian Eno, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Roxy Music, Jimi Hendrix, Roy Harper, Gustav Mahler, The 'Northern Soul' movement, Prog-Rock from the early 70s, Jazz when Miles Davis made it electric, Punk up to about 1980, after that it's just repetition, 70s Electronic music, 60s beat/pop Classical music that breaks the form, ...and generally, anything that involved a bit of thought during its composition although I have my limits. The only music I can't stand is music that is 'style over substance'. I reserve the right to pick any artist I choose to go in this particular bin. Fuck cool. It's a boil on the arse of music.
I'm not a movie expert but I like a good film. I usually like something I can get into, normally involving Tarantino, Coppola or Kubrick.
Comedy is the key to the soul. Make me laugh then we'll get along just fine.
I just don't have time for books unless they're about musicians and music. I should make more time but something's got to give.
My Grandfather. It's his fault I'm this damn addicted to the musical note. I only wish he could've heard me play.
