Paulo's Biography
Paulo is a Vocalist/pianist seeking other band members, musicians, singers and song writers to work and grow with. Paulo's main genres have mainly focused on pop, soul and R&B, but has been working and experimenting with his technique to create a more diversified sound.
Paulo is a classically trained pianist, and also formally trained with Adelaide Jazz and Soul Diva, Trace Canini. He has made a number of solo accompanied performances in various Adelaide city venues such as The Governor Hindmarsh and The Cavern.
Paulo started the year in 2007 performing with Adelaide's Modern Contemporary Choir, Aquaria in conjunction with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Later that year, Paulo was cast in a principle role in the South Australian Premier of the Broadway Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie with the "Met".
In 2006, Paulo had the pleasure performing with the choir " The Tongues of Fire," in live performances such as The Lake's Carols and with Andy Seymour as part of his gospel choir in The Gospel According to Elvis.
Andy Seymour and Aquaria, The tongues of fire again performed The Gospel According to Elvis in June 2007 at the Adelaide Playhouse as part of the Cabaret Festival.
One of his proud achievements in 2005 is competing against highly accomplished singers in Search for a Singer, making it to the grand final. In this competition Paulo performed his own rendition of Natalie Cole's 'Inseparable' and Louis Armstrong's 'Wonderful World.'
