We are demons ( Blasphemy )Contempt was founded in 1990 in Kosice - Slovakia - and played initially technical and experimental metal. During the 90ies they released 5 demos. In 2000 some big changes happened. After band internal disputes and a line-up change also the sound changed... the result was Brutal Death Metal. In 2002 their first full-length album „The Secret Around Us“ was released by the Polish label „Empire Records“. Already the following year their next album „When Angels Begin To Cry“ appeared. Then it became quiet around the band. This was followed by some smaller and larger gigs mainly in the Eastern European region . After further line-up changes the band began in 2008 to record their new album “Blasphemy” which will be released soon. During the past 19 years the band has had the pleasure to play with bands like Cannibal Corpse, Kataklysm, Necrophagist, Obituary, Benediction, Holy Moses, Marduk, Unleashed, Krisiun, Vomitory, Monstrosity and many more.
