I operate a non-profit foundation "Center for the Study of Ancient Wales" whose offices and library are housed in a castle in Texas. Its website is www.ancientwalesstudies.orgMy hobby is hanging out with, and collecting memorabilia from, the awesome people who competed in RealityTV shows. I display my Survivor stuff on www.darrellwtexas.com and memorabilia from all other shows on another site which can be linked from there.I usually chat online with MySpace friends in the evening when not traveling to fund-raisers, Finale parties, etc. I often read, but seldom post on several internet forums devoted to RealityTV.I was married for 38 years until my wife passed away. We had no children and I currently share a home with my 94 year old mother located on the acre which adjoins the library "castle". During my working career, I spent over 20 years as a banker then became the CFO of a large publicly-traded company, from which I retired in 1996.In addition to endowing the foundation, I provide financial sponsorship for most of the large annual fundraisers which feature ex-RealityTV "celebs".
