He is an anointed and enigmatic leader that equips disciples with the knowledge that “praise opens the door of deliverance to bring into the view the destiny of every believer”. Pastor Brown travels extensively throughout the United States of America and abroad, even with the constant demand for the ministry gift upon his life, he yet shares in direct contact with the majority of parishioners weekly.He has a sense of love and genuine concern for all, laced with a explosive, didactic presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which affords him the opportunity to minister to a plethora of churches such as the Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship, Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Church of God, and the African Methodist Episcopal Church to name a few.Civically he has proven that the only resolve for the betterment of mankind is the ability to make it better, wherein he serves as an Advisor and Board Member of the following: Brevard County Ministerial Coalition, Cocoa Brotherhood Ministerial Association, Office of Mayor, City of Cocoa, Senior Citizen Health and Welfare Commission, Department of Children and Families, Second Harvest Food Bank, Pastor’s and Elder’s Council of Eastern Florida Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Child Care Association of Brevard County, National Youth Department of the Churches of God in Christ. In June of 2007 he was selected by the Most Reverend Charles E. Blake Sr. to serve as a strategist for the Office of the Presiding Bishop's Pre-Symposium.Pastor Brown’s leadership abilities have expanded beyond the perimeters of the sanctuary with emphasis on outreach, community development and the empowerment of each individual in every facet of their lives. Prior to this current pastorate, Pastor Brown has served one other congregation as the Senior Pastor of Faith Tabernacle (Columbia, South Carolina). He served as Youth Pastor of the Hallelujah Missionary Baptist Church. He has also served as Staff/Associate Pastor of the following: Imani Temple (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), Mount Olive Church of God in Christ, and State Temple Church of God in Christ (Boston, Massachusetts). Pastor S. Benjamin Brown believes preparation in terms of education is the key ingredient to a successful beginning and a promising future.He matriculated through Mount Saint Joseph College (College Preparatory), Baltimore, Maryland, and continued his studies at Villa Julie College (Psychology), Stevenson, Maryland, Colgate Rochester Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), Rochester, New York, Harvard University (Divinity), Cambridge, Massachusetts. Recently he was recognized by the A.B.G. Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry), Brooklyn, New York after submission of his dissertation entitled the “Theology of Paul Ramsey” as it relates to the Christian, Medical, Political and Socio-Economic ethics of our world today.
