CHANGE OCCURS WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT...

About Me

I have thought about this at length. What a difficult thing it is to sum yourself up in 100 words or less. Who I am today may be different from who I am tomorrow. Life is changing moment by moment. Most of the moments are good, some not so good. I am a quirky, vivacious, extrovert some days. Other days I am quieter, (although not quiet) more thou ghtful, gentler. I love to laugh and try to find humor in most situations. I am definately an optimist. My glass is usally very full, ocasionally with Pinot Grigio........ I am a cheerleader of people. I am a Psychologist and spend my days cheering people, mostly women into believing they can be anything they want to be....Empowerment therapy. My life is full with 2 children ages 11 and 13 and a 24 year old daughter, who lives in Texas. They keep me busier than I ever knew I wanted to be. I think this keeps me young. Anyway I wouldn't trade our craziness for anything.

Traveling, Hiking, Attending local small town festivals, knitting, People, People, People. I want to learn to scuba, would like to snorkle in exotic places....Would like to learn to relax more.

Music:

What a mix. I love the Dixie Chicks, especially the new song "Forgive sounds good"..., being from Texas I tend to like country music. I also find myself knowing all the songs my kids listen to with questionable lyrics.....Anything with a good beat works for me....NO delilia after dark stuff, too depressing.

Movies:

Love movies...like chick flicks of course. Sophies Choice, Under the Tuscan Sun, The Last Boy Scout, Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Steel Magnolias. Anything that has strong female characters.....Sandra Bullock, Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton are some of my favorite actresses.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, One of the Boys, Bones, House---how I love House.....

Books:

Reading for me is a real pleasure. I have read most of Stephen King ( i knew he was under an influence)to write that stuff), John Grisham. I am on a Jodi Picoult kick at the moment. I have also been reading Ann Shreve. I tend to fall for a writer and then read everything they have written. I have to admit I have read most of Nora Roberts, I especially like her trilogys.

Heroes:

My mom, Oprah, My friend Susan. Crazy about Iylana VanZant, and Sara Ban Breathnach---self help guru's.
