About Me

I miss the Boys from Oklahoma. In every sense: the song (Boys from Oklahoma), the band (Cross Canadian Ragweed), the anti-Norman reference (they've got a kinky street), the parties/bars where the song was sung (or yelled), and the boys.
..I'm from a storybook suburb in the Midwest/South (depending on how you see it) and was raised with the perfect blend of country and city. The classic (back then) "two parents, two kids and a dog" household. I went to a state university in a quaint college town where I was in a sorority and split my time among friends, school, bars and church. I now live in the biggest city in the US where I'm the typical "transplant." I work for a magazine, go out with friends, try to read and not watch too much TV, love music and colors, explore neighborhoods, spend a lot of time keeping in touch with friends and family, and for the most part - really enjoy life.

Your Rising Sign is Virgo
Well put-together and elegant, you sometimes seem standoffish.
And truth be told, sometimes you do feel superior to those around you.
A bit shy and introverted, you tend to stay quiet - even if you're feeling social.
At parties, you can seem like you're very serious while you're having fun.
You clever and ingenious, with an alert and active mind.
Good at facts and figures, you excel at logical and mathematical tasks. What's Your Rising Sign?
