Create Your Badge .. Chasity has been performing professionally since 1998. Her incredible vocal range and distinctive singing style is unlike any other. She poses exceptional stage skills as an entertainer and continues to satisfy her audiences large or small. Chasity is rapidly achieving her ambition of becoming a nationally acclaimed recording artist. She knows the true meaning of hard work, dedication, perseverance and professionalism. In February of 2004, Chasity recorded her first CD in Nashville. Her impressive line up of producers included Darran Smith, lead guitarist, band leader and co-producer for Tim McGraw’s albums, "Tim McGraw and The Dancehall Doctorsâ€, and "Live Like You Were Dying.†Denny Hemingson, steel, acoustic and electric guitar, also a member of “The Dancehall Doctors", and executive producer Jim Purdy, former Nashville recording artist known for his hit single “The Last True Romance.†The producers called in their top quality team of session players, which included other members of the “The Dance Hall Doctorsâ€, as well as other popular and award winning studio musicians including studio engineer/producer, Jim Lightman. The songs on the CD were hand selected for Chasity, from hit songwriters and top music publishers. The songs range from country-pop ballads to up-tempos with a touch of true country flavor. Each song brings out the brilliant uniqueness and vocal qualities of this talented young artist. Since completing her CD, Chasity is steady gaining interest from industry executives, including major record label representatives. Chasity and her backing band “The Electric Cattle Company†continue to stay busy with their personal appearance and performance dates throughout Canada. It is no surprise why this talented young lady is performing on a regular basis. She performs at countless venues including; fairs, festivals, rodeos, charitable events and corporate functions. She is a member of the Saskatchewan Country Music Association, and the Canadian Country Music Association. She has received many awards including her latest accomplishment of winning Dauphin's Country fest Talent Competition, giving her the opportunity to write and record two more original songs with Danny Schurr of Platinum Gold Studios in Winnipeg, MB. In 2005 Chasity was chosen as one of 10 performers in Canada to showcase at the Canadian Country Music Awards Weekend, and in 2006 Chas was nominated for Rising Star at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards. The past year has been full of travelling, networking and song writing in Nashville!! No matter where Chasity Dawn performs, she leaves her audiences and fans young and old, fascinated and overwhelmed by her kind hearted down to earth personality, dynamic stage presence, performance, and needless to say, her strong unique beautiful voice.
