Right well i guess i'll explain how the band was formed,
Well it all began with myself (Rossall) and Jonny. We were origionaly in a band together. After Kenton's Annual Rockfest in 2006 the band split, Jonny and I were left without the musical support we craved.
At a later date Karl Reay Came to the rescue with plans to make a band of his own - 'Amongst Strangers', we later changed the name because you had to pronounce Amongst.
During one of our first practices in Karl's garage , I stumbeld across, what could only be described as a Sexy compelation of Chords, and we were drinking Pepsi at the time, and the killer title was born! Unfortunatly we were forced to drop the 'Cans Of Pepsi' bit due to copyright laws.
The month's droned on and we were yet to make any accomplishments with our own material. We eventualy got a couple of tracks down, some of which we still play today :D
We trudged on without a vocalist for weeks, until Karl came forward and adopted the position.
We then recruited Joe as our Bassist despite his lack of experience (he'd only been playing for a week), and hat wearing antics, and from there on in the band was formed as 'Sexy Chords'.
As Sexy Chords' story continues to unfold Karl Reay departed May 2007, we wish him look with future projects. But don't fret, (no pun intended) Sexy Chords are now stronger than ever, with an indestructable musical bond, a loyal fan base and a fresh library of songs.
Now, in April 2008, Sexy Chords has eventualy located a new singer. After a couple of sucsessful gigs in and around the city, may we introduce Simon Dunn, with a huge vocal range, this looks like an exicting new start for the band.Look out for Sexy Chords... Coming soon to a venue near you!
