My name is Tammy Buccella, Owner and Designer of Tammy's Basket Creations. My life before becoming a Mom and Wife I worked as a full-time Customer Service Consultant in the world of Marketing and Sales; I am now a WAHM to my Miss Tabby, Sir William, and Wife to an amazing supportive husband of 9 years, Bill.
My greatest passions are my family enjoying our life together, spending quality time together, and just being the little family that we are! And of course my love of crafting and cooking. I couldn't be more happy having both in my life. :)
As a child, I loved to craft with my grandmother's bestfriend Pauline (May their souls RIP). She taught me the basics during our weekend visits along with having a delicious cone of Newport Creamery coffee ice cream. This was a little tradition over the summer breaks from school. I am now the only crafter in my family. I have also inspired others to make their own as well.
I was always giving away gift baskets, hand crafted items, and homemade goodies as Birthday, Favors, Special Occasions and Holiday gifts. So in 2000 I put my mind to opening my own internet based business so I could work from home. In March of 2000 My brain swirled with ideas for using my "crafty-ness" and began creating my own wide assortment of products. Notebook after notebook was filled with ideas and Tammy's Basket Creations was born on June 2nd, 2001 and opened to the public on June 3rd, 2001.
As of August 2007, I will be designing and building gift baskets and floral arrangements for a local chain of
gourmet market places. Wish me luck!
Tabby, age 8 is my daily inspiration (and my crafting side-kick). She collects the remnants for her own little "projects", and I can already tell we have another crafting apprentice in the making. I am thrilled to share my passion of crafting with her and I am sure Billy will want to join in when he is a little older too. Now I am able to share the fruit of my hands and ideas with you!
