Music:

All kinds really, from classics like The Who and The Beatles to The Jam and The Smiths and all the MADchester scene such as Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, James, etc, Primal Scream, Charlatans, Pixies, Pink Floyd & Led Zep as well as local bands like Jyrojets, Stereoglo & 28 Jacks. Also dance music especially Old Skool Hip-hop, House, Trance & Electronic stuff like 808 State, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy and I love Faithless & Massive Attack oh and mustn't forget to mention drum n bass as my husband djs but mostly the funkier sounding stuff like Roni Size & Goldie although I quite like Pendulum too

Movies:

Mostly gangster films like Carlitos Way, Casino, Goodfellas, and the Godfather films plus anything that's a bit confusing and/or surreal like Magnolia, Memento, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Brazil,K-Pax etc

Television:

I'm a sucker for Eastenders and hospital dramas like Casualty, ER, Holby, hell I've even been known to watch The Royal

Books:

I wish I had more time to read right now but my faves include anything by Iain Banks (but I don't really go for Iain M Banks), Ben Elton, Bill Bryson, Nick Hornby, White Teeth by Zadie Smith, Football Factory & anything else by John King, Down and Out in Paris & London by Orwell so quite varied really
