Salvo grew up in Italy and Germany and started his career at a local radio station in Sicily where he had his first show at the tender age of 13. It was also the place where he started djing. At this time Salvo was influenced by Kraftwerk – and later on Daft Punk.At the age of 15 he made his first public appearance at Cabana, a known club in his home town Agrigento. Short time later Salvo was resident of Cabana and he got offers for gigs all around the island.In 1998 Salvo moved to Germany where he still lives today. Djing was never “out of sight†even though it remained nothing but a hobby for a long time. Usually he played at private parties. And – finally - Salvo got into contact with techno. He visited the legendary Omen in Frankfurt and immediately caught the vibe. He attended every night with Sven Väth. But it was Plastikman who changed his personal view of electronic music. Other influences were Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano as well as the whole Detroit scene.At the beginning of 2006 Salvo founded Electrodelux (www.electrocdelux.com), an Italian network for all electronical music fan which will go international soon.Representing all styles of electronical music is essential for Salvo. It doesn’t matter if a track is techno, house or minimal. Music is not about labelling a song.
Salvo wants plays what others don’t play no matter what style it is. “Be different and follow your own path†could be his motto.
