DJ'ING since 1999 in the Tampa/Brandon Florida area, starting at the former BAR Tampa in Ybor City under the guidance of the legendary DJ GONZO (1999-2001), Then it was on to Tahiti Joes next door(2001-2003), at this same time that I spun at Tahiti Joe's, I was invited to become a regular mixshow guest DJ on 93.3 WFLZ under the guidance of my good friend Stan "The Man" Priest who was the Program Director at that time. I spun during the "Friday Night Dance Party" which was hosted by Stan "The Man" Priest and "Kooz", it became an 18 month "dream come true" spinning for "tens of thousands" of listeners in the Tampa Bay Area; I was joined in 2003 by various other DJ'S to share mixing duties during the show (Andy Kovacs and DJ X to name a few).With Tahiti Joe's Demise in late 2003, I was recommended to DJ at a relatively new club named Harpo's in Brandon, which promptly was renamed Quench Bartini.After finding the DJ position in such a large nightclub to be a tall order for one DJ to tackle, I brought DJ Jimi O on board to assist me. DJ Jimi and Myself had a nice approx. 2 year run at the club, Spinning both Friday and Saturday Nights, and the club was the majority of the time packed on weekends and really jumping. The last couple years, there were turbulent times within the club that were beyond the control of both of as and we finally pursued different paths to establish more stable gigs (that's the life of a DJ) but we both remain Good Friends and assist each other in the Biz!!!A few of my DJ guest spots / residencies were at the following clubs / establishments throughout the years:Joe Dugans - Clearwater, Florida; AKA Traders - Lakeland, Florida; Emerson's - Lakeland, Florida; Hawk's Sports Bar - Tampa, Florida; Green Iguana (Veterans) - Tampa, Florida; Andreychuk's Sports Bar - Tampa, Florida; The Drink / Club Malange - Brandon, Florida; Barnacle's Sports Bar - Brandon, Florida; Push Ultra Lounge - St. Petersburg, FloridaI occasionally assist my DJ friend Jimi O (95.7 The Beat - Tampa, Florida) with private parties and social events and also host DJ guest spots occasionally throughout the year.
