My name is JANUARY,I was named after the song entitled "January" by the band Pilot. I have maintained a very high level of interest in music from a very early age, I started to take singing more seriously 4 years ago.
My main priority is to become a professional singer/songwriter and I would like to have enough knowledge one day to teach others.
I have just finished a btec in popular music studying at M.A.N.C.A.T college,and have gained ditinction/distinction/merit,of which i am quite pleased.I am very interested in furthering my education and have been offered a place at salford university,of which i av started,studying popular music oncemore. At Present I have just recieved my result for my grade 5 keyboard exam and grade 8 rockschool of which i have passed both with merit.I also have achieved grade 5 being classical, at Manchester School of Music. I am also having lessons for the piano and voice and have begun to accompany myself with the piano and vocals, In the future I would like to look into the teaching side of the music industry and I would be interested in becoming a vocal coach. To gain experience and confidence I have regular gigs on the weekends and I have entered many competitions with some recent success, I love performing to a live audience, as every experience is different.I recently passed my driving test at the 1st attempt just 3 days before my 18th birthday and i am gaining experience and confidence in driving in my new car,and lovin every minute of it.
