Its members range from different styles of music from rock, reggae, ska, punk, jazz and pop. Influences include: Jarabe De Palo, Enanitos Verdes, The Beatles, Mana, John Lennon, AC/DC, Sublime and many others. Iguana's two year existence has seen their share of musicians come and go but with the addition to new drummer Tony T. Iguana has developed a new sound. Lead singer Giovani Mori has a unique style of song writing and singing and has mastered the sound of his voice to achieve a very powerful, potent and unique style of singing. Guitarist Javier Del Toro brings both melody and pure rock to Iguana. With over 20 years experience Javi D combines classic guitar in his solos along with heavy guitar riffs. Javier contributes most of the ideas for new songs for Iguana and is the back bone of the band. Tony T. the newest member to Iguana brings rhythm to the band with jazz influence. Drumming for over 20 years Tony was the missing link for Iguana. His style of drumming can be compared to Buddy Rich and Art Blackey. Besides the drums Tony is talented with the Saxophone and percussion. Tony also brings experience with recording engineering, recording some of the best undiscovered local talents as well as recording Iguanas new album. Catchy bass lines are what Alex brings to Iguana. Influences like Green Day, Muse, John Lennon, The Beatles, Coldplay, Oasis and many others guide Alex I in writing bass lines for Iguana. With 10 years experience and playing with bands that varied from Spanish rock, hard rock, and punk rock Alex has found his style of music with Iguana. Iguana is a great band live. Their show is very energetic and a great time for anyone who enjoys great music. A must see for any music enthusiast.
