For Squirrels, Placebo, Brand New, Samiam, The Smiths, Vast, Val Emmich, Nada Surf, Gin Blossoms, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, Kevin Montgomery, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Goldfrapp, bloom., Mashlin (The Exit Radio), Rob Dickinson, Flogging Molly, Reel Big Fish, Ash (from Ireland), Local H, Better Than Ezra, Lucia, Orbit, Black Lab, Interpol, The Violent Femmes, Hollywood Beach Brian, Subrosa, Reggie and the Full Effect, The Cure, Filter, The Black Rabbits, Fallen From the Sky, The Thumbs, GumWrapper Curb, Mighty Joe Plum, Noah's Red Tattoo, Stabbing Westward, Sponge, The Doors...and my favorite song is Black Metallic by Catherine Wheel so go figure that one! I also think the soundtrack of the film Donnie Darko is quite amazing...The Church ("Under the Milky Way" is my second favorite song), Echo and the Bunnymen, Joy Division, INXS...good stuff. Oh, and I have a thing for Gretsch guitars, Vox amps and the men who play them ;)
Mystery Alaska, Star Wars (A New Hope was the best), The Crow (I love everything about this film), Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure, Batman Begins, The Replacements, Shrek, Singles ("Have fun, stay single"), Velvet Goldmine, Heathers ("Corn Nuts!"), My Big Fat Greek Wedding, How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days (a guilty pleasure), A Knights Tale, 16 Candles, Angus, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Big Fish, The Lost Boys, The Worlds Fastest Indian, Shaun of the Dead, The Hannibal series of films, Shining Through, The Godfather, Sin City, V for Vendetta, any type of good horror film and stuff like Braveheart, The Gladiator, The Patriot and King Arthur. 300 was stunning. I also go to see a lot of Sci-Fi flicks with my dad and Mary. Resident Evil is a favorite of ours. Basically, if the film has zombies or vampires, that's a good thing. Films involving stalkers rock my world. Seriously! Too bad most of them suck. I did buy The Watcher, however. Not the best flick but I kind of like the idea of being stalked by Keanu Reeves :)
Oh, and remember, "Shop Smart. Shop S-Mart!"
Picket Fences, Northern Exposure, The Adventures of Pete and Pete (Mary bought me Seasons 1 and 2 for my birthday), Fraggle Rock, The Muppet Show, PowerPuff Girls, Futurerama, The Great Space Coaster, Eerie Indiana, The Simpsons, Southpark ("It's okay to like Southpark because God has a sense of humor."--the best quote a friend ever gave me), King of the Hill (best theme song--ever!!), Alf, Dungeons and Dragons. I don't know. I watched Desperate Housewives and House for a while. Both great shows but I always miss them. I like the Food Network (Alton Brown NOT Rachel Ray). Travel Network--especially when they showcase themeparks. History, Discovery, Science, Cartoon, Style...all good. Bravo (Project Runway, Queer Eye). I love "The Alternative" on VH1 Classic. Guess that would fall under music though. Biker Build-Off...amazing show!!! Reno 911. Is it football season yet? I'll be watching the Bucs. I despise those E-Harmony commercials. They drive me insane!! I love the Vonage spots though. Catchiest music in a commercial!
"The Big Book of Porn-A Penetrating Look at the World of Dirty Movies," of course. Oh, and "The Worst Band in the Universe" by Graeme Base. Yes, my favorite book is a children's book. It's amazing. The whole thing rhymes. At one point I thought I'd like to write a children's book and then I read this. Now I know how truly bad I suck. I also love The Crow graphic novel and The Crow comic series. Archie comics. Go Jughead!! Stephen King. Oscar Wilde. Poe. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Stuff on astrology. Naomi let me borrow her copy of "He's Just Not that into You". Torrey used to buy me books for my birthday. I've read Ann Coulter's, "Treason" but I never made it through the first chapter of Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged". I need to read more. I'm finishing up Ayn Rand's "Anthem" which is truly amazing. Now I think I may be ready for "Atlas Shrugged".
My Great Grandma Mary and my Great Granny Molly. Oh, and these two sexy ladies in the photo with me :)
Hooray for me!! I'm finally one of Torrey's girls!!
