I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Combining her enchanting voice with virtuosity on the pedal harp, American singer/songwriter Kristi Bartleson has been crafting bridges between folk and pop music for more than a decade. Kristi's catchy and exotic sound patterns are inspired by jazz, folk, classical and rock music.
With origins in the high Colorado Rockies, Kristi graduated with honors from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Her professional résumé includes some unusual credits for a singer/songwriter: for example, she has played at New York's Carnegie Hall with the Select Eastman Orchestra and as a member of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, she has accompanied such unlikely acts as The Who, Crosby, Stills and Nash and The Moody Blues (just another night in the life of a folksinger).
Kristi has recently relocated to the small town of Nederland, Colorado, and is currently working on new projects.
The cd "11" (eleven) was recorded in Nashville, with producer/engineer Bil VornDick, and features many guest artists: Johnny Hiland, Tim O'Brien, Mark Fain, John Catchings, Luke Bulla, and Kirby Shelstad.
