Giant Wafer Studios

About Me

Giant Wafer Studios is a fully residential studio in the heart of Mid Wales situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The 2500+ square foot complex offers spacious professionally designed rooms and comfortable accommodation.
The studio is based around a heavily modified Soundcraft Sapphyre 36 channel console, Steinberg Nuendo, Apogee converters, a wide selection of new and vintage outboard and exceptional monitoring.
Our recording chain is flawless, Neve, API and Quad Eight are considered to be among the finest tracking consoles of the last 40 years and we have 20 channels of outboard mic preamps based on these classic designs. Coupled with great acoustics and our collection of industry standard microphones from companies such as Nuemann, Schoeps, Sennheiser, AKG, Beyer etc we can get your ideas to ‘tape’ as perfectly as possible and help you realize the ‘sound in your head’
We offer many things that you just can’t get in your average home studio like 13’ ceilings, acoustically measured rooms, proper ‘star earthing’ mains power and top quality Mogami cable and Neutrik connectors used throughout.
