Born in Greece on October 26, 1980. Dimitris Eleftheriadis known as Dimi.El to the clubbing scene,
started from the tender age of 16 to play at radio stations and various local bars and clubs in his
native town Komotini. In 2001 he moved to Cyprus where he worked at Club ZOO for 3 harmonious
years whilst also presenting sets to many celebrated private parties. During this time he also took over
the chill-out set from the legendary Claude Challe at MIX FM, Cyprus.
With this under his belt, he went ahead with his self-initiated development of the music sets at Guru
bar “Ayia Napa†presenting underground, progressive house with ethnic influences, also he was
representing the brand and its spirit internationally. Always researching for new styles in music, he
has travelled extensively in Europe meeting and playing alongside other DJs with similar styles and
interests. For the past 10 years, Dimi.El has been developing own mixing technique in various music
styles creating a “buzzy-funky†atmosphere. After completing his residency with Guru bar, Dimi.El
took on the much sought-after assignment of being the resident DJ for Buddha Bar in Dubai. During
his journey at Buddha Bar 2006-2008, he has been presenting a unique mix of chill-out, electronica
and house music, which combines tech, electro, tribal and progressive influences.
Dimi.El now one of Dubai’s most sought-after DJs, spends most of his free time developing and
experimenting with new sounds coming from various producers around the world in an effort to
present a unique set, a set foreseen by many to be the next great mix-methodology in clubbing sounds
all over the world. Dimi. is indelibly involved in music and especially in dance music; he is a 4/4
beats addict and big fan before moving behind the decks in 1995. He is to be considered one of those
DJs whom did much to influence and shape the sound of dance-floors in the last 3 years. He shares
his music out on records, from classic album “Guru Fantasy Island†to present day “Odysseyâ€
His reverential and massively successful up to date club selection is the envy of anyone. On the decks
he holds masterful control of the crowd with a session style that is impossible to categorize,
incorporating anything from fierce Progressive house to driving Tribal.
2007 – 2008 was packed for many great headlines support such as Tiesto, Marco-V, John OO
Fleming, Mark Norman, Cosmic Gate, Luca Ricci and his own great successful gigs in New York,
Boston, Moscow, Cairo, Athens, Kenya, Cyprus and Dubai. Whenever he is not flying over the world
he is away in the studio with staggering consistency. If you have ever been to one of his parties you
will know he takes so much care of his music values so expect something truly special and the word
talented will inevitably spring from your mouth.

His latest release work is already underway on the follow up to his successful “Odyssey†album that
will be no doubt one of the most anticipated dance compilations.
With his own distinguished style, and an undimmed passion for music, Dimi. El will be one of the
dance music’s frontrunners.
