The bastard child of rocker/graphic artist Erik Hart and director/fashion photographer Elliot Hans, Morphine Generation is the street’s answer to Hollywood ho-hum Juicy Couture. The subversive line features deconstructed blazers and distressed tees silk-screened with original artwork and sayings like, “Protect Yourself From Hollywood†and “Live Fast Die Youngâ€. The tops, popular with young Hollywood (can you say ironic?), have been spotted on the likes of Mischa Barton, Tom Cruise, and even Paris Hilton (who, seeming to have come to terms with her status, donned a tee reading “Socialite Trashâ€).
