well softball caused a big prob for us last week. i got hit in the face by a line drive from 50feet away. im the pitcher on my wifes softball team and we were playing another fun filled season when our off the field friends on the field rivals frank and shiela lol from big red machine asked me to fill in for there pitcher all was going well i was doing a good job ..well for me it was good but i made the mistake of going down the middle for the kid..he has a hell of a swing i barely had time to get my glove even close to my face. long story short i fractured my orbital socket all the way around the eye. broke my nose, blew out both nasal passages and cavities, and fractured my cheek bone and upper jaw.. so i pretty much broke the left side of my face..still have all of my teeth and my eye is still working for the most part i can see color and shapes and make out some details to about 3-5 feet away but it should get better in the coming weeks.Tina is not going to let me pitch anymore this season if ever again but i enjoy it so you all know ill be back up there even if i have to wear a helmet to keep her happy..we find out this week if i need surgury to fix my nose and my nasal cavities..thanks for your prayers {}
