Watching T.V. straight up is a bit rough, but if we're talking about on a DVR than we get down with.... The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The Office(English&American), The Extras, South Park, Family Guy, & The WSOP.
Books are great for killing time when nothing really productive can be done... i.e Going to the bathroom or long train rides or long submarine rides. Some scene favorites include the metro-sexual's guide to style, of Mice and Men, and The Bible.
