With These Hands Mix Academy is the first of its kind in the Charlotte region. It offers a fresh approach to learning by giving young adults the opportunity to overcome limitations and expand their horizons within the entertainment industry. With These Hands not only focuses on disc jockeying, it also teaches practical life skills and professional etiquette. Each student will receive hands-on training that will allow them to realize the depth of their talents. Students will receive personalized instruction from DJ COG- Claude Whitfield, DJ 300- Louis Wilson, and many other industry professionals. Instructors will provide lessons on effectively facilitating any entertainment event and a step-by-step approach of conducting and managing a profitable business. The training process will teach students endurance and other valuable life lessons, ensuring them successes in their personal lives. Whether one wishes to begin mixing and/or producing or simply to polish skills, With These Hands is the place to be. Upon completion of this training program, students will not only be better DJ's, but they will be entrepreneurs as well.The reality of today’s society indicates that young people are less likely to pursue their dreams because they have no hope of ever reaching them. It is imperative that youth find outlets that positively reinforce their goals and ambitions. Not every student is an athlete or a scholar. With These Hands will encourage its students to explore nontraditional means of extracurricular activity. We promote self awareness through various activities that will help students discover their gifts while fostering creativity. When students’ realize what they actually have, they will begin to understand who they are and what they have the potential to become. We encourage clear communication with students and their immediate families to ensure that the principles taught here are being used at home and at school. Gaining support in their families further secures their promising future.
