I was born on December 20th In the year of 1990. My Home town is Foxborough, Massachusetts.
In 1997, at the age of 6, I appeared on Bill Cosby's Kids Say the Darndest Things and impressed him and the audience when I sang the song "Respect." Other people around the industry were impressed as well and I soon found myself singing on the Oprah Winfrey Show, the Rosie O'Donnel Show, at ballgames and even the Republican National Convention.In 2002 I was a contestant on TV's America's Most Talented Kids, however, I did not win the competition. However, the exposure allowed producer Vincent Herbert to take notice and I signed an album contract with Blackground Records.My first self-titled album, JoJo, was released in 2004 and became an instant hit, with the singe Leave (Get Out) making it to number one on Billboard's top 40 chart (the youngest person to ever do so). I followed the album with a European tour as the opening act for Usher.My movie Aquamarine HAS BEEN RELEASED co-starring Emma Roberts and Sara Paxton.
