My name is "Christyle". I am a 19 year old hip-hop artist and song writer, born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. My struggles and life in the streets of Philadelphia shaped who I am as an artist. It made me determined and persistent, gave me a sense of justice, shaped my identity, and encouraged my unique self- expression through my music. Most importantly, through these experiences, I gained the confidence and strength to believe in myself and share my world with others through my music. The best part about the streets of Philly is that you're are never alone, and the characters that bring life to the streets, also bring life tomy music. They have influenced my words, my songs, and my life.My interest in music has always been with me from my first time on stage in an elementary school production of Cinderella singing a solo, to participating in church and school choirs and rapping on the streets. All of this was brought to a new level when at the age of thirteen I met Jeffrey Brothers, CEO of Master Mine Entertainment. The combination of his supervision and direction with my determination brought me into the professional world of music. Since then, I have been performing and recording professionally for more than 6 years. As a distinguised female hip hop artist, I have acquired not only a distinctive sound and stage presence, but also great work ethic.In the year 2000, I established an artist development/ production deal with Bruce Patterson of Wall Banger/ Philly Town Inc. Subsequently, I worked with various producers such as Lawerence Goodman, hip-hop pioneer "Eddie D" of Galaxxy Records and producer Timmy Allen who has worked with artist like R-Kelly, Aaliyah and Back Street Boys. I have also collaborated with signed artist such as Abliva and Roscoe P. Coldchain of the Re- Up Gang and have performed at numerous venues throughout the Tri-State Area, Washington, D.C and New York City.
