Hey it's Joford here, I figure it's about time to update this thing, so here goes. Well for starters my kids are older now---duh. Rhyne is almost sixteen and Sydney is 9. We've had a good summer hanging out at the pool and basically trying to stay cool. I am now living alone again, that has it's ups and downs but for now it's good. I would like to find the right roommate, I guess I will be on the lookout for that. I need to get back into school, I've been away for a few years and it seems like a waste to throw it away. I am taking mechanical engineering and am a good way into it, I just need to focus (and maybe talk to a counselor). I started without a game plan really, just taking classes, and all the fun classes have been taken. Now I need to take all the math, english...blah, blah. I work 2 jobs, so this proposes a bit of a problem. I am pretty good at balancing things, but there are only 24 hours in a day. I wish there were about 12 more. Still enjoy playing guitar, I am getting more into electric again, I've been playing mostly acoustic for quite a while. That helped develop my style though, stuff like fingerpicking and dynamics. I love Strats and just about any guitar, but I gotta say my Flying V is the SHIT!! One of my favorite players (if not THE favorite) is Michael Schenker, his tone just kills. Whenever you hear him play, you know it's him, and that is so badass. So, moving onn..... Moxie the pit bull is 12 now but doing well. She went last week and had blood work done and although she is overweight, (the vet said "We've always known that"), she is in good shape. We all hope she will be around for a good bit longer. Also noteworthy is the fact that I got saved a couple of months ago. I still struggle with things but have made some good progress on others, I think. This is a lifelong commitment and I need Jesus in my life, it tends to get a bit crazy when I get too far away from my faith. I love meeting new people and hope to see you in the near future, whether you are an old frien or new. Peace.
