Mark Daniels

Born in Oakland, Ca. and raised in the nearby city of Richmond. Mark has been a professional musician for 30yrs. Origially a trumpet player, Mark picked up the Guitar at age 14 in summer school, and from there, there was no turning back. After traveling to Japan at age 20 to play a cover R&B gig, he knew music was his destiny. Now well seasoned, he has traveled exstensively in the USA, and Asia. He's played with various bands in various styles including R&B, Jazz, and Gospel. Most notably, he has sang with James Brown, and most recently played guitar for the Neo Soul group Kindred. In his first solo effort, he mixes old school R&B with Nu-Jazz to bring to life Vegas Blue. Stay tuned for his follow up CD "In My Room" now in production. Atfter recently leaving the Las Vegas band Rhythm Nation,which he co-founded in 1997, Mark still makes the bay area his home base. At many venue's in the Bay you may find him. And just recently he became and member of New Birth, Concord church's praise team. Where he plays every sunday.
