DIAN BARNETT, the fourth of ten children was born in the parish of manchester , jamaica W.I. AT age 11 her family relocated to the clarendon area, where she completed her education and where to date, she has remain. Dian attended vere technical high school and accepted the lord at age 13 and has remained faithful. Her desire and love for singing soon became a major part of her life and so she was frequently called on to sing at churches, weddings and school functions, thus she excelled.In the early eighties, Dian became a member of a young group called '' the faith gospel group'' Where she had her first public exposure to singing in a group. This was short lived but she later joined the ''Ambassadors gospel group'' from may pen and for the next 13 years, was one of the lead singers and foundation member. shortly after becoming apart of the ambassadors, she entered and won the National Youth for Christ ''talents for Christ'' competition with the song '' my faith still holds'', the title of the group's second album.Dian's time with the ambassadors was a period of growth and development. she had always been very shy and introverted, but became more outgoing, which allowed her to develop her gifts and grow grow more.spiritually and vocally,thus affording her more exposure to a larger cross section of the public. The Group recorded 2 albums. In 1997, she resigned from the ambassadors and for the next 2 years, used that time to refocus and seek the lord as to what direction he would lead her.
