..
John DiResta is a comedic genius that knows no equal. The NEW YORK TIMES SAID THIS ABOUT HIM, 'UPROARIOUS!" Dan Mir (the owner of the Tempe Improv) recently said this about John's weeklong headlining stint, "Fantastic!" John just killed at the Hollywood Improv and had REPEAT CUSTOMERS BY SATURDAY NIGHT!! John DiResta is a true comedic mixed martial artist. John started his career in the bowels of the NY comedy circuit and quickly moved up to the Broadway Stage. John's One Man Show, BEAT: A Subway Cop's Comedy ran for six months on 42nd Street in NEW YORK CITY!!!!! John then went on to star in his own sitcom, 'DiResta', that lasted one season on the UPN. Then came two seperate building shows: Trash to Cash was on FX and Hammered debuts on DIY in January. John played Brooklyn Johnny in the series American Body Shop which aired COMEDY CENTRAL. John can also be seen in about a dozen feature films: Miss Congeniality, Miss Congeniality Two, How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days, Gloria, Mickey Blue Eyes and 15 Minutes with Robert De Niro. John's sharp New York accent can also be heard in three Steven Spielberg movis; Catch Me if You Can, The Terminal and War of The Worlds. Take notice, these are real movies, with real stars, not 'Cobweb 2; The Infestation.' John is a frequent guest of the Howard Stern Show. John has also been on the Tonite Show as a panel guest. The late, great Tom Snyder has been quoted in the USA Today saying "John DiResta is one of my favorite guests of all time." John is a former NYC Transit Police officer. John did 12 lonely, depressing years at the Stillwell Coney Island station. Coney Island is a nice area, if your a bullet. John has also been a guest star on numerous tv shows: Malcom in the Middle, Providence, Becker and Comedy Central's Shorty Watching Shorties. John's brand of comedy seems to be working very well. John has been killing all over the country; on TV, in Films and especially live. He is a modern day Johnny Applebag, spreading laughs and smiles all accross America. John is currently working on his new, fresh, fun tv adventure called JOHN DIRESTA'S AMERICA: Big. Bad. Fun. John is also touring the country while he works on his new one hour special, John DiResta's The Circle of Life. The World Tour Continues. Hell yeah!!!
