Founded in 1890, FMU, Tampa is the oldest business college in the state of Florida. Tampa has a population of 265,000, but in the surrounding area, 1.8 million people call the Tampa Bay area home. The University is housed in a two story structure which provides classrooms, a medical assisting laboratory, and a computer lab with 50 computers with Internet access. The University´s library has Internet access, inter-library loan capability, and computer access to The Academic Abstracts for student research.
