My name is Gregory, and I am the owner of Music Gear Guys.
Some of you may remember me from the 80's in Hollywood CA.
Some of you may know me by my music stores.
I am a player first and foremost that made a decision to give up the suit and tie job to be surrounded by musical instruments. My store is set up for the working musician.
Music Gear Guys mainly carries used instruments. Why? Well, let's face it, most working musicians don't make a 6 digit income. So.... I developed a store to accommodate your budget.Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I know, what's so different about that?
Well all the used gear sells at Avg Ebay cost. Its easy, no worries about gear not being what it was advertised at, or getting taken. Its here to feel and touch.Yes I am a dealer for many top brands too. Like Peavey, Behringer, Fulltone, TC Electronics, Guytron, Matchless, Victoria, Hi Watt, Orange, Laney, Ibanez, Eastwood, Hofner, Hohner, Fernandes, Gries Amplification, Valvetrain Amps, and so forth. But I am not really here to try to sell you a $3000 Matchless. Trade me the gear you are'nt using and save some dough.Need cash to pay the rent? Sell me your old gear.
Shoot, just let me know how I can help ya out.If you or your band has a song that you want Music Gear Guys to showcase on My space just email it to me. I believe in supporting local bands and talent.
If you playing out here in Denver, bring in a flyer to post on our wall.If your a National Band, I'm also here to support you. Send in you swag to support your shows and albulms.Either way, just come on in and say Hi.
We specialize in vintage, used, and of course being the largest pedal dealer in the Rocky Mountain region!Thank you ALL for your continued support and love,GregoryMusic Gear Guys

DENVER, Colorado (CNN) -- The conventional wisdom here in the Mile High City is that Denver entered the recession early and is pulling out of it ahead of the rest of the country.A block up Broadway is a little guitar store called Music Gear Guys. I play guitar, and this was one of the first businesses I stopped by when I moved to Denver in January. I have been in the shop four or five times and have been surprised that every time I drop by, the place is packed."The recession affected us a little last year but overall -- knock on wood -- it hasn't really affected me too much," says owner Gregory Decker, who thinks the recession may actually be helping his business."I have a feeling that people are looking for hobbies or different forms of entertainment that aren't too expensive," Decker explains. His store is crowded with new and used guitars, amplifiers and accessories.***CHECK OUT MUSIC GEAR GUYS ON CNN!!***How downturn affects Denver http://www.cnn.com/video/?JSONLINK=/video/business...
