Married 15 yrs (+2), no kids but a husband, race car, 1 cat (Pretty) and a dog (Hemi), are my 4 kids. :)
Living life to the fullest, as I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1998. My doctor told me my drag racing is my best medicine, since I refuse their medications. I have gone the naturopathic way since being diagnosed!!
Our car is a 71 Demon with 406 sbc on carburated alcohol.
I've been drag racing in Super Pro, in the bracket Summit ET series for 13 years now, with my hubby Dave as crew chief. We have had GREAT results with my racing!! I have a couple Championships under my belt and 5 Wallys (3 in 02 & 1 in 05 and my most recent one June 2 2007), 2002 NHRA Div.6 National Open Series Super Pro Champion. Top 10 in local track points 1994 - 2006, won 2000 track championship.
In the 2007 race season I finished in 2nd place in the NHRA Div.6 National Open Series and tied for 4th place in the local track Bracket Series.
Dave races the car maybe once a year and has 2 Wallys (97 & 99, 2 r/u's for Wally's, 2005 & 07). We have been racing the same car for 18 years now, it was a street car in the first couple years, raced it on the track while a street car and took it off the street for the track after Mission Raceway opened in 1992. We have MANY show car awards and racing trophies from over the years.
My husband built the whole car himself and no one else has ever touched it. My best run to date is a 9.93 et @ 133 mph. Our lives revolve around drag racing and hot rods, which we both thoroughly enjoy and being with all our friends at the drag strip, one big social gathering!
