About Me

I'm a hard working Audio Engineer/DJ/Producer/Musician residing in the DC Area. Since owning Urban Intalek Studios (www.urban-intalek.com), I've been fortunate to have been the Audio Engineer and/or Producer for music projects by the Poemcees, Priest da Nomad, Storm the Unpredictable, Tamara Wellons, Uniterrupted Band, Unspoken Herd, Asheru, Hue-Man Prophets, Mr. Tibbz, Chris Styles, Payshir, D'Mite, Ms. Nyema, Sin, Actual Fact, Black Mongoose, Oddisee, the Unknown, Ayanna Gregory, Maestro Metaphorics, Trak Slaya, Sin aka Sinsational, Young Raven, Crushed Ice, Naima Jahmaal, Thaylo Bleu, Joli D., DJ Taek One, Ras D., Opus Akoben, W.E.S., Apex, Head-Roc, Sanctuary Records, Big Choowy the Don, Muyi, Mr. Cofe, Curtis Lee, and many more incredible artist from the DC area (I know I left out many names, please forgive me...email me, I'll be sure to add it to the list).
I am a member of the Recording Academy (Grammy), AES (Audio Engineering Society), and WAMA (Washington Area Music Association). I offer discount studio rates to any member of any of the listed organizations.
Currently, I've just wrapped up a series of major tours and events (as a DJ) and finishing up a few mixes for various album releases (details later...bootleg release issues, etc.). I'm also handling some of dates for the Scream Tour and possibly a few dates for the Heineken RedStar tour this Summer and Fall. I've been playing bass for Hip Hop/Rock/Funk bandProject Mayheim with Bomani "D'Mite" Armah....a tour in Europe is on the agenda! And I can't forget my tenure as the bassist for the BMB (album coming winter '08)
Lastly, I've recently finalized a publishing partnership with MPIRE Management. We already have a strong roster of producers and song writers...details later.
Oh yeah, can't foget to mention my work on D'Mite's "Read A Book"...The video is hilarious and has caused much discussion (and controversy). As one of the executive producers of the project, I stand by my work.
