Junior Sonic was born on the 13th of April 1987 in Vienna, Austria. He took piano lessons from his father and was surrounded by music since his early childhood. DJ Sonic, his elder brother, who is in fact one of the most famous Viennese DJs, awoke his passion for House Music. Junior Sonic has never missed a single Roger Sanchez radio show ever since.At the age of 16 Junior Sonic saved enough money to buy his first DJ CD-player. Shortly after, in the summer of 2003 he practised and mastered his mixing skills. Three months later he has recorded his first demo mix for promotional purposes. One of the founders of the M4C event management company got his mix and was excited by it. By the end of 2003, for the first time in his life Junior Sonic tried his DJ skills as a support act at the Club Supreme and Café Cream. His set at Café Cream rocked the crowd. Junior Sonic became an official member of the M4C DJ team in February 2004 and had his first personal gig at Café Cream shortly after.Junior Sonic had his first big gig at the 10th anniversary of DJ Sonic, who happens to be his brother. The celebration took place at the Club Fusion hosted at the trendy Babenberger Passage in August 2004. The following summer Junior Sonic had his next highlight. He played a set together with DJ Sonic on one of the trucks at the Viennese yearly Gay Pride (Parade). Getting a job as a resident at the City Island summer beach club at the Donauinsel was his next big step that summer.This year Junior Sonic continued his success by getting a resident job at the Stylez Club which is a bar-lounge in the 7th district of Vienna. The clubbing series runs under the motto „We Love Thursdayz“ and is a weakly event which offers only the best house sound.Junior Sonic has gone quite a way from playing at the pre-parties to becoming a talented newcomer of the Viennese house scene.
