I am married to an amazing and caring man. He was one of my best friends before we became a couple and has remained so ever since. I became an instant mom(step)to a wonderful boy--now a young man who is 15.
I am home full-time with my little Ava who is now 2 1/2. The first year of her life, I was a full-time professional working for a non-profit...loved my job but loved my family more, and felt robbed of the time when I was at work and Ava was at daycare. So, after a year of that, we decided I would stay home. I haven't regretted a minute of it! What a joy it is to watch her blossom and to know that I am the one caring for her and teaching her about life each day!
I have a home business with Motivated Moms, a wonderful group of moms who help other moms find a way to make extra money, either while they are working outside the home or as stay-home mommies, and keeping their family healthy, happy and safe. Some people are working full time and doing this business on the side to reach their goals of staying home. It is a wonderful business that has integrity, which you cannot say for most home businesses. Plus I am providing my family with the extra $$ we need to save for college, vacations, and much more.

I don't watch much t.v. these days...unless it is PBS.

Books:

I love anything about the trail westward in the early 1800s-- I love the diaries of the women who made that trecherous trip.
