Nuno Correia studied electric bass and double bass in Hot Club de Portugal School of Jazz, in the Regional Conservatory of Music of Linda-a-Velha, and NERSET-Professional Course of Music. He had several teachers: Carlos Barretto, David Gausden, Bernardo Moreira, Mario Delgado, Laurent Filipe, Pedro Moreira, Mark Holan, Klaus NymarK, and Yuri Daniel.
As a professional musician, Nuno Correia participated in the following projects: Herois do Rock, Eddie Goltz & the Jazz Navigators, Adelaide Ferreira, Capital Rock 93, Combos 92 do Hot Club de Portugal, Matt Irwin Quintet, Aura, Puro Acaso, Big Bang, ¼ Sem Ninguém, Blend, Aeternum Vale, The Downtown Blues band, Geova Nascimento Quartet, The Same Old Blues, Alex Bento, Paula Teixeira, Four 2 Jam, Timeless, O Jazz vai a escola, and Pedro e os Apostolos.
Actually, Nuno Correia plays with Forgotten Suns, the most representative band within the progressive rock style hailing from Portugal, and others side projects like: Corvos (classic/Rock); Casual Attraction (Pop/Fusion); Frozen Heart (Hardrock); Plano B, PimPamPum, and Jazztandard (Covers).
