Jens Hänsgen started off as a Dj about 15 years ago, originating in
the underground scene in his native city of Paderborn. Over time, he became
more and more infected by industrial music, influenced by bands such
as Nine inch Nails, The Cassandra Complex or Ministry . The leap to "Analog
Bubblebath" or "Waveform Transmissions" was very easy."Today i´d say there's nothing like it. But you know at that time,
everything that bleeped was kinda familiar."His first venue as resident techno Dj was the "Madhouse" in Bielefeld.
After a year, he moved on to Brighton in England where he was playing
in several bars. A year later, he returned to his native
Germany to live and work "amongst the shadow of the Cologne Cathedral."
Eleven years later, he's nearly played all venues in the city.
Many people know him from hosting the Lounge floor at "the Funky Chicken Club"."It was a milestone for me. It was the first time as a Dj that I had
the chance to define my own special sound. Cheers to Theo and Andreas

Others remember him as the resident Dj at the famous
Cologne based techno ship "Das Boot" where he played on the sun deck
every Sunday for two years. According to him, that was the defining moment
when his career really took off playing at "Privilege" in Ibiza, "Les
bain douches" in Paris and even at the German Radio station "HR3 -
